As China has had a well developed steel and iron industry for many years, it was only natural
that cookware and cutlery were one of the first items to be exported from China as early as the 1970's through Hong Kong.
Today, China supplies much of the world’s cutlery and cookware products; principally porcelain and earth/ stone dinner ware. The production is mainly located in three major areas in China.
The porcelain industry was invented in China thousands of years ago, and to date China is world renowned for its beautiful and innovative porcelain and earthen ware products.
Helios has been manufacturing and purchasing these products from China for both importers and end users for 15 years.
